Last week was filled with both highs and lows for the pro-life movement.
On one hand, we celebrated the closure of the infamous Boulder abortion clinic that, for 50 years, had performed abortions up to 40 weeks of pregnancy — a major answer to prayer.
But last Thursday, Governor Polis signed into law Senate Bill 25-183, requiring Colorado taxpayers to fund abortions through Medicaid. In supporting the bill, House Speaker Julie McCluskie claimed the measure would save the state money because, in her words, “a birth is more expensive than an abortion.”
Truly, we live in a state with many people who are clouded by darkness and deceived by the lies of the enemy.
But together, we can shine the light of Christ into that darkness.
