Transforming local lives through the Church

While it’s all His ultimately, God’s given us the freedom to decide how to best use the time… the abilities… and the resources He provides us.

Here are three tangible ways God may be calling you to engage in what He’s doing through Life Network to value LIFE in our community… see lives changed… and help parents, students and families live life abundantly. As many of our prayer warriors, volunteers, and donors learn, giving your time, talent and treasure can be transformational for you and your faith.

1. Committing Time to Pray

One the first things we tell new staff and volunteers is how critical prayer is to what we do at Life Network. The spiritual opposition to the powerful work God does to save and transform lives in our pregnancy centers and in area classroom can be intense. We need people who are called to serve as prayer warriors for the work HE is doing through us.

If you are willing to commit to praying weekly, or monthly, on behalf of our life-giving ministry, please email us at admin@elifenetwork.com to join our weekly or monthly prayer list.

2. Using Your Talents to Serve Others

Something we hear repeatedly from volunteers is “I get more out of serving people in need than they do.” The life transformations that occur with our volunteers when they are used by God to help change lives can be every bit as significant as the impact we see for our clients. Or, maybe your community group, bible study or Sunday school class would like to host a baby shower to provide items for moms in need of baby clothes and “baby gear” for their new little one.

Whether it’s serving in the pregnancy center or providing medical training in a classroom or volunteering at an event or sorting baby clothes, there are numerous ways you can help.

Contact Brenda at 719.355.1177 or bshuler@elifenetwork.com to inquire about volunteer
opportunities. You can also visit our volunteer page for more information.

We currently have a specific need for medical professionals open to serving as Education for a Lifetime trainers – as well as women and men with parenting experience who’d be willing to be trained to become a LifeSteps parenting coach.

3. Giving Your Treasure Back to Him

Throughout Bible, we are told to be benevolent. Everything we have isn’t ultimately ours. God has entrusted resources to us to steward on His behalf. When it comes to stewarding our money, our top priorities are to tithe back to Him through our church and to take care of our families. Once you have met those important obligations, would you prayerfully consider supporting LIFE in our city by giving to Life Network?

All the services we provide are free to our community because of the generosity of people like you who are committed to valuing life. And, giving can be significant not only for our clients, but for you. As one donor recently put it, “when I think about being in heaven one day and meeting babies who have been saved because of my gifts, I get the chills.”

Your one-time gift – or monthly support – will be transformational for our clients … and quite likely for you. Visit our donate page for more information.
