Walk Day is Almost Here!

It’s almost here – the 2025 Walk for Life is Saturday! We can’t wait to see you at Memorial Park for a wonderful day to celebrate and value life in our Colorado Springs community. By participating, you are saving babies’ lives, redeeming the lives of moms and dads, and helping point people to Christ.

Planning for your day on Saturday? Here are a few last-minute important details and tips:

Parking – Come early to ensure you get a parking spot nearby! Look for our parking signs off Union Blvd. and Pikes Peak Ave. Our volunteers will be in orange vests and will direct you.

Arrival Times – Check-in for the 5K begins at 7:00 a.m. and check-in for the Kid’s Run and the Walk begins at 8:00 a.m. We suggest arriving at least a half hour to 45 minutes before your event to ensure you can park, check-in, and get ready to go!

Kids Activities – We will have plenty of fun available for your little ones at the Walk for Life! There will be yard games, a duck pond, and a scavenger hunt at the Kid’s Zone. Do not forget our Kid’s Run for your littles ages 3 – 9 is at 9:00 a.m. (Before the run, visit the Kid’s Zone for waivers and wristbands). Please remember that this park is a public space, and you are always responsible for your children.

Photography – There will be official photographers and videographers at the event. As part of your registration, you completed a waiver that acknowledges that your photo may be taken and used. If you have strong preferences against your photo being taken, please politely let our people with a Media badge know you prefer not to have your photo taken.

Sponsorship – It is never too late to make a last push for sponsors! You can even self-sponsor and be eligible to earn prizes!

What to Bring – Do not forget your pledge sheet (if you used a paper form rather than online) and any checks or cash collected from sponsors. Don’t worry about printing your online donation form – we will print those for you.

Note About Political Activities – A friendly reminder that Life Network is a 501-c3 nonprofit and thus not allowed to support political candidates or their campaigns and must exercise discretion in how we interact publicly with political initiatives. Some past Walk participants have complained about intrusive political marketing (e.g., being approached away from the official booths to sign a petition) and activities that alienate people from your efforts at this family-friendly event. While Memorial Park is a public space, Life Network will not sanction or endorse any political campaigning, distribution of literature, or collection of petition signatures aside from the activities conducted in pre-approved booth spaces (which were made available on a first-come, first-served basis).

Security & Safety – As usual, we will have officers from the Colorado Springs Police Department – as well as plain-clothes, security-trained individuals there to help ensure this family event remains peaceful. Please keep in mind that this is a public park, and we cannot control who enters the park. You are responsible for your safety and that of your family.

See you at Memorial Park this Saturday, June 7, as we Walk for Life!
